Nah, adding a couple flaws that can be easily ignored doesn't negate the Mary Sue. Who needs technology when you've got magic? Instead of a gun, you've got a fireball. Instead of a plane, you've got levitation. Magic can do everything technology can do, and then some.
Numbers are also ultimately useless. Strategy and ability are more important, both of with the elves would have plenty of. Just find a nice bottleneck and all those numbers become obsolete.

No they dont actually have so much mages, and most of their mages are actually healers. They do specialize in archery so much.

Description: At her young age she escaped to the Holy Kirin Land due to the recent Naga invasion. She was trained as an archerer, but her mother also taught the secrets of healing. When she grew up, she returned to Zandalari Republic. The first thing she did is to set her village free from the Naga's. The recent king durring that time, Vat'us III was impressed by her skill of archery and asked her if she could be one of the generals that would lead The 9th Archer Legion. The 9th Archer Legion in the history of the Zandalari elves was one of the best legions of all time. Not only they cleared there land against the Servants Of Jetira but also was the first army who attempted to invade one of the islands in the Naga land (Lost Islands). They couldn't conquer it, but they did conquer Orvil Island, which was infested from the Vashkinians. She was a true Elfish hero, and because of her, the 700 year Second Naga War was finally over. Durring her free time, she fell in love with a Kirin General, Dustian. The free time however did not last longer (31 year) as the Nagas invaded the Zandalarians and Kirins again, triggering a short Third Naga War. Dustian died in a defence against the Naga's in Galivian Island. Driven mad by her lovers death, she immediatly went there, and destroyed the Naga invasion. Once again war ended. In her last days of her life, Zandalari decided to start a Fourth Naga War (which would cause a great fall for Zandalari, since the half of the peninsula would be conquered by Naga's). She died by defending the city of Dair, when one of the Naga archers shot her in heart, finishing her. Her body was burned by the Naga's, and later it was reformed in the 6th Naga War, where it was placed in a mausoleum in Dair.
